Anthropology Study Of Folk Faith In Bantian Village, Yixu, Fuzhou

In recent years, study of folk religion is a hot point in national academics and anthropology study. Academic study now is focused on the folk gods which covers a large range,for example Mazu,Guandi,Linshuifuren and so on. Academic study is now focused on faith ceremony of specific gods. The main study content include folk gods'origin, folk religion's function, the course of religion ceremony, instead of lacking overall study about folk religion culture in a shall local society. Author's fieldwork place is bantian village, which is studied by ling-yaohua and ruan-yunxing.But two senior scholar's study is focused on the lineage organization of yixu village, and there is only a little study about folk religions. So, author decided to study bantian village's folk religion. Discuss the "core---edge" frame of bantian village folk religion, point out the role of folk religion in bantian village. At last, author recognized that the perspective traditional anthropology's study religion is appropriate to study folk religion.
