The Practice And Study On "PEI" In Science Teaching Of The Junior Middle School

In the second period curriculum reform of Shanghai, the Science course emphasizes science investigation and attaches importance to students' problem consciousness to find and resolve problem. But now the attention on the "problem" in science teaching of junior middle school is inadequate. There is too much indoctrination of information without understanding and training for the examination in the process of teaching and learning. PEI (Problem Enriched Instruction), as a new-type teaching mode , which regards problem as the departure point and main line, promotes the learner to investigate, think about and solve problems, hoping to develop the important function in science teaching in the new course reform.Under the instruction of PEI theory, the teaching practice is performed in the science course of the junior middle school. By the methods of literature research, experiment, questionnaire, specialist conversation, the research is made from the following aspects: the designing of effective problem, the building of problem context, the practice of PEI. With the statistical analyzing, we give the react strategy for teachers to the change of the students' problem consciousness. The research tries to find the best practical manner for the PEI theory used in science teaching and provide more proof for the development of PEI theory. The following are the main research results:1, The practice of PEI in science teaching in junior school needs the instruction of related theoretical. It is necessary to verify the problem ( problem gather) with special gauges and design abundant and valid problems in the teaching process.2, It should be attached enough importance to build problem context.
