A Prediction Of Chinese Women's Football Team's Achievement In The Olympic Games In 2008 And Its Strategic Study

Women's sports items are the major resources of the item addition of future Olympic games. Chinese women achieved greater success than men in the recent three Olympic games. At the same time,the influence of football,the first major sports item of the world,is greater than other single items. Compared with the status of Chinese men's football team,women's football team receives more respect in the football world undoubtedly. Thus,the affect would be huge if Chinese women's football team gained remarkable achievement in the Olympic games 2008.On the base of a wide range of literature review,interview and professional consultation,this paper conducts a predictive study on Chinese women's football team's achievement in the Olympic games in 2008under guidance of the gray theory. The findings show that there is a decreasing tendency of the achievement of women's football team since the 2008 Olympic games ,based on the gray prediction, this paper makes a further analysis of their superiority in this Olympics that under the general environment of"the whole nation system"and"the advantage of home field",they can attain the established goal of"keeping the third place while pursuing the second place"through a hard all-around preparation for the games.
