With the development of our era, people gradually acknowledge that education shall be the first priority in our modern construction and also that teacher education is a top priority in education. As a matter of fact, the reform and improvement of the teacher education should rely on the support and promotion of a nation's policies on teacher education. Based on this, the article synthesizes different perspectives on the study of policies on teacher education of our country's primary and middle schools.This article has two logical clues, one by time order and the other by space connection order. According to these two logical clues, the author selects four perspectives on the study of the policy on our country's primary and middle schools'teacher education.It's important to take lessons from history. This article begins from the history of policies on teacher education of our country's primary and middle schools since the reform and opening up. Then it sorts out the contents of different stages and the hearts of policies on teacher education at different stages are summarized. In such a way, the development trace of our country's policies on teacher education of primary and middle school from the late 1970s will be grasped. Today, the western countries have all established a relatively well-functioned educationsystem and have boasted rational training polices. All these things can serve as a good reference for our country's teacher education policies. The author selects USA, British, France and Japan as our reference, analyses their current education polices, and then makes a research on our own policies. In this way, the author intends to shed lights on the problems bothering our education policies from a comparative and wide angle and to boost China's teacher education.
