The Trend Of Population Development In Zhengzhou And Its Countermeasures

Based on the reality of Zhengzhou and its population, this thesis predicts the trend of the development of Zhengzhou's population in the future 50 years with CPPS by the element deductive method, from which the features of the trend can be seen clearly. Using the theories of demography, economics and sociology, this paper analyzes, in many ways, the influences on economy and society by the trend, through which the main population problems are pointed out in Zhengzhou city. The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are given. The ideas and the suggestions in this thesis can be referred to make an overall plan for the development between population and economy by related authorities. And also it will be useful for Zhengzhou government to make development strategy.This thesis mainly consists of four parts:Part I: world-wide survey of population problems and population forecast, the content and significance of this paper.Part II: the introduction to the basic principle of the element deductive method.Part III: forecasting the trend of the population growth in Zhengzhou in future 50 years and analysis of the result.Part IV: this part analyzes the influence on economy and society by the trend. In this part main population problems are pointed out that Zhengzhou will meet in the future, from which countermeasure and suggestion are given accordingly. It is suggested that population growth should be controlled; the continuous birth-control should be kept; a Zhengzhou-featured guarantee system for the aged should be set up; the public policy of both developing economy and increasing employment should be practiced. Clearly, grasping the great opportunity to promote economic development is the key link to solve the population problem.
