Exploration And Practice Of The Matrix And Transform In Senior Mathematics Teaching Under The New Curriculum Criterion

Teachers are the performers of educational reform.One of their most important tasks is how to carry out the new theories and ideas of math curriculum as well as to explore new suitable teaching methods.New math curriculum is being carried out this term in our province.Great changes are reflected in objects,contents,demands and the designing of the curriculum,especially the setting of the alternative courses.The rectangle group and its changes is the fourth section.How shall we perform our teaching tasks?What are the differences and relations between the present and the traditional teaching?What may be the changes of the teaching courses?How to stress enough attention to teachers' real performances,the degree of new ideas being carried out ,teachin courses together with the designing of teaching models.This article is intended to discuss the problems above with the hope of some help to the setting of the alternative courses in our province and even thoughout the country.The teaching exploration on the rectangle group and its changes is based on the action-study mothed and practiced by math teachers of our school by improving traditional teaching motheds.The process includes three stages:preparation.practice and summing-up.At last,we focus on such a teaching method:(1).creat situations for different problems,emphasizing the causes andbackground of concepts and conlusions to motivate students' interest in math learning(2)emphasize the effects of the interaction between the teacher and students in classroom teaching.The teaching procedures are stressed.(3).pay attention to the importance of the combination between numerals and shapes and enhance the effective IT in our teaching(4).indicate the student-centered idea to change students' learning methods.
