In actual life,the relation between known quantity and unknown quantity always be used to obtain unknown quantity,the concept of equation was gradually formed.With the progress of human civilization and the development of mathematics,the equation also develops from the classical algebraic equation to the differential equation and integral equation.Mathematician Chen Xingshen once said that "Mathematics has good and bad point,equation is the representatives of good mathematics." This shows the position of the equation in the teaching of mathematics.However,we know that students' knowledge mainly comes from teachers,so teachers' understanding and teaching of equation contents play a vital role for students' learning.This paper studies the content of equation in middle school mathematics teaching material from a high point of view.First,it expounds the value of equation in middle school mathematics teaching.From the historical development point of view,the development of equations promotes the development of mathematics in the world.Many objective laws in life are closely related to mathematics.If these relations can expressed in quantitative relations,they can usually be showed by equations.At the same time,the equation plays an crucial role in physics,chemistry and other disciplines.Most of the research on equation teaching are focused on teaching materials and equation modeling,and students can not learn without the understanding of concepts and other basic knowledge.Therefore,this paper studies the definition and classification of the equation and the theorem of the same solution.Then,some solutions of equations are given.In high school mathematics,the solution of the equation generally has the factorization method,the change element method,the parameter method,the undetermined coefficient method,the image method and so on.Then it introduces the solutions of some equations in higher mathematics,such as solving linear equations by determinant,solving linear equations by matrix,solving linear equations by formula method,and so on.It is hoped that the introduction and research of these contents can help the middle school mathematics teachers in the teaching of equation content.Next is the questionnaire of mathematics teachers in middle school to guide equation teaching by using knowledge of higher mathematics is analyzed.It can be noted that some teachers are aware of the connection between high school mathematics knowledge and advanced mathematics,some teachers introduced higher mathematics about the method of solving equation to students,and more than half of the students understand.Finally,this article summarizes and gives some suggestions: Teachers should improve their personal qualities.Only from the top of a mountain one can see fully and profoundly,as well as grasp the content of teaching and the purpose of teaching;Teachers should be able to find the essence of mathematics teaching,and can not only teach for the purpose of entrance examination;In the process of transferring knowledge,teachers should pay attention to the generation process and exploration process of concepts or knowledge,guide students to participate actively in teaching activities,and further enhance students' interest in learning mathematics;We should strengthen teachers' understanding of the importance of mathematics teaching in higher mathematics,then,teacher can participate actively in this research.
