Research On Graduate Enrollment Scale

After college expansion in 1999,China has been one of the countries holding biggest graduate education scale. But the constant enlargement of the scale of graduate education has caused lots of inconsistencies. As the Expansion Policy has been widely oppugned,the scale of graduate education has been a hot topic again. This dissertation aims to deepen and widen cognitions of the development of graduate education scale,and to provide referrence to graduate education planning and recruit planning.This dissertation starts with relative literature research and the information from interviews with administrators and operators,looks back the history of graduate education development of China,probes into factors which influence graduate scale,and see about the affections of scale's undulation. Then it rootles gist and tropisms of recruit plan from texts of recruit plan policy. At last,combined with experience of other countries,it analyses the methods and models we used and discusses problems in graduate education programming.Main conclusions are: rational graduate education scale should harmonize inner factors and outer factors of graduate education system and be propitious to graduate education developing strategy; at the present time it is impossible to make with a exactitude scale planning; the difference between scale plan and practical number is avoidless; the development of graduate education programming hangs on the development of decision-making database and agility exertion of planning methods.
