A Study Of Academic Degrees And Graduate Education Administration

As the top level of education, academic degrees and graduate education has become more and more important as the society and economy develops. This paper tries to explore the issue in three parts. The first part introduces the history and development of academic degrees and graduate education, the progress of higher education in China. From the first part, we can recognize the differences and problems of academic degrees and graduate education in China. It is essential that academic degrees and graduate education in China should be perfected. The second part analyzes the target and value orientations of academic degrees and graduate education. Academic degrees and graduate education must serve the requirements of the society (knowledge economy) for persons of talents, the requirements of the educational popularization, and satisfy?their needs to reach the top value. The third part aims to work out solutions to the problems of academic degrees and graduate education administration in China.
