The aim of this research was to investigate the use of verbs in narratives of children with Specific language impairment (SLI). The subjects included 5 children with Specific language impairment (SLI) whose age is from three to four. Specific language impairment (SLI) does not include children who do not develop language because of intellectual or physical disability, hearing loss, emotional problems or environmental deprivation. It is used of children whose difficulties are with speech and language only.The result showed as follows :The use of verbs were examined in narratives of children with specific language impairment (SLI) and normal developing children(NDC) . The use of verbs in the normal developing children was above levels seen in children with specific language impairment. The number of verbs in play narratives of children with SLI was more than the number of verbs in narratives of life. The number of motional verb in narratives of children with SLI was less than those normal developing children. The children with specific language impairment refused.The research approved that the children with SLI could use few verbs. The children with SLI's ability of using verbs were very poor. This result was similar to the research in other countries. Besides the research put forward some proposals on the children with SLI.
