Presently, the reformation of the new turn elementary education curriculum is carrying on, and the curriculum standards and the teaching text reform are the core of the reform. This research mainly uses the literature study methodology, the questionnaire survey methodology and the comparison methodology, to contrast the knowledge formulation of high school biology textbooks in 5 editions. Investigations and studies are conducted on the spot of curriculum reform and experiment area in Jiangsu Province, to find the condition of using the new textbooks in the experiment areas. There are many problems with the new textbooks in the use process. The common points and their characteristics of the five editions are shown in the paper, and especially, the textbooks knowledge system of the Jiangsu province Education Press edition and that of the People Education Press edition are contrasted in detail, for example the activity of each points, the picture and the table of knowledge points. Furthermore, in this paper the high school biology knowledge system of our country is compared with that of American and Singapore. The result shows that knowledge system of the textbooks of high school under biology curriculum standards has manifested the diversification of biology textbooks. Such knowledge system is helpful to construct knowledge for students. Simultaneously, such a knowledge system of biology textbooks is also meaningful to teachers. On the base of above studies, this paper supplies the corresponding proposal for teachers.
