At the direction of the new curriculum reforms, participation became a direction for the curriculum implementation reform. At the same time, students' participation in curriculum implementation is a kind of idea that the new curriculum reform advocates, it also is one kind of advanced curriculum implementation pattern. After understanding and discussing the history and etymology of participation, the author thinks students' participation in curriculum implementation is under the modern education theory and the teacher's instruction; students participate in the activity of curriculum implementation positively, and finish the task that the curriculum plans are put to practice positively, independently and creatively with teachers. Thus the students and teachers will achieve the curriculum goal. As a result, the author infers that students' participation in curriculum implementation has the character of subjectivity, interaction, enactment, intolerance and level.After discussing what the student' participation in curriculum implementation is, the author also elaborates the theory foundation of student' participation in curriculum implementation systematically, and asks us to set up the idea of urging student to develop through students' participation, enhancing the level curriculum implementation, facing multiplication and setting up which student's need is the starting point of curriculum implementation. Under these ideas instructing, the author discusses the three stages of the students' participation in curriculum implementation, they are arriving at the field, taking part in and participating in planning and implementing. And the author elaborates the connotation, the character, the performance of the student and the strategy of the three stages separately.However, what we do the fundamental research about students' participation in curriculum implementation is very necessary and important in order to let students move towards the road of the participation. Because, any kind of curriculum theory is like this, it must touch student's life in the real world, it has truly to improve the student's survival way and life condition, it has to promote student's quality of life and the value of life, and if it must be transformed for the teacher and student's concrete behavior in the daily classroom instruction, then, this theory can display its effect. In view of this, the author uses the theory which the author constructs to look after the situation of students' participation in curriculum, by observing in the classroom and interviewing the teachers and students. And we discover there have four insufficiencies: First, the "quantity" of students' participation in curriculum is not enough. Second, the level of student's participation is not high, basically pausing in the second stage. Third, student's participation limits to the classroom. The fourth, student's participation is to obey teacher's authority. In view of above four insufficiencies, the author proposed three countermeasures: First, transferring student's study initiative, sharpening student's capability of independent learning. Second, bestowing the right to the student and increasing the students' ability, simultaneously, letting the students undertake the responsibility. Third, the teacher should have a view of participation of students as the subject.
