| The new curriculum reform of primary education aims to make education close to the students' life and modern social life, take the student as the centre, and put emphasis on the development of students' practical and creative abilities. The comprehensive practical activity curriculum, aiming to develop students' practical and creative abilities, has been included in the primary education curriculum. Under this guideline, this paper aims to study the implementation of comprehensive practical activity curriculum of the primary education.The paper is divided into four parts.Part one is about the analysis of the connotation of taking the student as the centre in the comprehensive practical activity curriculum. The comprehensive practical activity curriculum is a kind of curriculum with the students' experience and life as the centre. It is an activity curriculum for every student, with the students' real life and timely information as the content and with the student choosing by themselves, applying the knowledge, indirect studying and experiencing as the main methods. The main goal of this activity curriculum is to improve the harmonious developments of emotion, behavior and knowledge, and the evaluation model is mainly based on the process as well as the result. It enjoys all the characteristics of taking the student as the centre, such as, comprehensiveness, practice, process, openness and subjectiveness.Part two is about the guarantee conditions for the implementation of taking the student as the centre in the comprehensive practical activity curriculum. The human and environmental factors are the main factors for the effect of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum. The human factor concerns the education administration departments, the leads in the school, teachers and students.
