The Norms' Construction Of Modern Wushu Morality

In this paper, the construction of modern Chinese Wushu morality system has been discussed theoretically. The methodology used in the paper includes the following methods with the application of documentary materials, expert's interview and logical analysis; with the above method, the periodicals, newspaper brochures, academic writings and classical documentaries have been analyzed, induced, deduced and integrated.Having consulted lots of related background materials, the writer firstly defines the concept of Wushu and morality norms, and then he has a thorough analysis about the possibility and necessity of construing modern Wushu and morality norms'system. Secondly the writer talks about the ways of construing modern Wushu and morality norms, which is the key issue. Without the reasonable construing method, we can't ensure the scientific research. Also how to begin this research with correct guideline is also mentioned in the paper; finally the construction of Wushu and morality norms'system is discussed, which are based on the above analysis. The following are five aspects of the norms'system are put forward: center, principles, target, requirements and contents.In the final part of the paper, the writer put forward clearly the contents of the system. There are eight items altogether: be loyal to our country and people, showing respect to teachers and morality, be kind and honest, be courageous, be upright, be modest and humane, practicing Wushu for peace, be diligent and dependant, whose detailed illustrations have been given in the paper too. The research has an important role not only in theory but also in practice, whichwill be very useful for further study on this topic and that is what the writer expects to see.
