The modern information technology development and the application provided the support for the teacher professional development, it is an hot topic that explains the model and methods of the teacher professional development.The modern information and network technology give us a new way to support the teacher professional development.The teachers get a wonderful environment to improve their teaching skills.Therefore,it is important to construct an online teachers learning community(OTLC) to enhance teacher professional development.The research consists of four chapters. The first chapter gives the background, research questions, methods and the status in quo of online teacher community.Chapter two shows the literature review of the learning community and the teacher professional development.Chapter three analyzes a case study of online teacher learning community.Chapter four proposed the principles and the strategies for the construction of online teacher community.The last chapter summarizes the research.The research objective is the principles and strategies for the construction of online teacher community, based on analyzing the features of OTLC, and these are the research points. The author wants to give the theory of designing the platform of online teacher community.
