Teacher professional development is the foundation for education to progress,and the teacher professional learning community provides a platform for teacher professional development.In Taiwan,the teacher professional learning community has had a profound impact on the professional development of teachers,and its experience has very important implications for us.First,through checking the literature and preliminary investigation,this paper demonstrates the representativeness and feasibility of the Z school learning community as a case study,as well as the practicality and feasibility of thesis topic selection.Through a review of the literature on teacher professional learning communities in Taiwan and teacher professional development,it is found that research in Taiwan on learning communities is mainly divided into two aspects: on the one hand,it's on community operations;on the other hand,it's on teacher development.Research of the impact of professional learning communities on teacher development has focused on teaching effectiveness,community leader function,and teaching skills.Secondly,by analyzing the interview content of the three teachers A,B and C,it is found that the leadership style of the convener(responsible person)of the teacher professional learning community and the school principal's leadership style are both supportive leadership styles,which is most favored by teachers.Under the leadership of supportive style,the internal driving force of teachers' professional development has been enhanced,and professional development has also been greatly improved.Teachers have developed a good cooperative relationship during the learning community,and teachers collaborate well with each other.The professional learning community promotes the practice of teachers after reflection and empowers teachers.In addition,some teachers feel that more teaching tasks leads to the time to participate in community activities is still tight.Finally,through the impact of professional learning community in Taiwan on the professional development of teachers,the significance of reflection on the mainland for reference can be concluded.Teachers should identify their “recent development zones”;Teachers need to focus on the practice after reflection;Teachers' teaching leadership needs to be returned;Schools need to broaden the scope of teaching and research and social supports;Teacher professional learning communities need to attract interdisciplinary teachers.
