A Study On The Present Conditions Of Community Sports In Changchun And Its Development Tendency

Developing community sports is an important task in implementing nationwide body-building plan, and is also the main efficient organizing form to promote every citizens, health condition. The situation and developing tendency of community sports would directly influence the physical and spiritual health of urban citizens and the community cultural atmosphere. Meanwhile, it would also influence the further development of material and spiritual construction.Thereby, a research on the present situation and its affecting factors of the civil community sports in Jilin Province was carried out, for the purpose of fulfilling the nationwide body-building plan and providing certain theoretical foundations for further development of community sports.Through document, questionnaire, interview, field survey and statistical analysis, this research tried to provide feasible countermeasures in view of the existent problems, aiming at offering references for the further promotion on the development of civil community sports. At present, a good many problems, such as lack of outlay, lack of social sports instructors, lack of ground facilities and enough governmental support, still exist in the development of Jilin Provincial civil community sports due to various reasons. Through the research and analysis, six main factors that affect the development of Jilin Provincial civil community sports have been concluded, including organizing and managing factor, sports instructing factor, motivation for sports, activity outlay factor, ground facilities factor and natural environmental factor, arranged according to degree of importance. These factors have severely hindered the development of Jilin Provincial civil community sports.Finally, in order to achieve an efficient improvement on the situation of Jilin Provincial civil community sports, the research provided several suggestions, including establishing suitable management system, collecting sports outlay through multiple channels, strengthening the input and construction on sports ground facilities, enhancing publicizing power, increasing sports consciousness of community residents and advancing the quantity and quality of community sports instructors, etc.. These suggestions aim to make community sports truly serve the improvement of residents, constitution; promote an active participation in community sports; form a healthy way of sports life; meet community residents, increasing varied and individual needs; and promote economic development of Jilin Province. Hopefully, this research could provide the government with some references on making policies concerning community sports development.
