Stepping into the 21st century, people pay more and more attention to the personality and the exploration of the personality education. Educational research in many countries focuses on "personality cultivation" instead of the original "knowledge education" and "intellectual development". Nowadays, the status of Chinese personality education in domestic secondary schools and the education level can not meet the developmental demands of new era. This orientation of "valuing intelligence and ignoring personality" badly needs changing.Chinese has the incomparable advantages over the other disciplines in personality education, its humanistic feature requires us to undertake personality education, and it should give full play to its due role. Based on such cognition, the paper states the significance and necessity of carrying out Chinese personality education, points out the problems lying in the current Chinese personality education, analyzes the reasons causing these problems, and puts forward the concrete strategies in carrying out Chinese personality education in secondary schools.The structure of the whole thesis is as follows:â… .
