| Views on life values play an important role as a guide for the growth and development of one's life. And college students are valuable human resources, the hope of the nation, the future of the motherland, the backbone of building a harmonious society. To strengthen and improve education about views on life values of them and to raise their qualities of morality, culture and health are directly related to the future of the Party and our country and the destiny of our harmonious society. However, college students in our country have some serious problems about views on life values, because of they being in their stage of mental and physical unmatured, and the influence of some negative factors in the development of economy and society and the deviation of views on life values among college students. Based on education about views on life values, the article presents the relations between the education about views on life values of college students and the construction of socialist harmonious society and its characteristics at present. On the basis of reviewing the traditional morality, cultivation and revolutionary, it proposes that not only there must be distinctive features of the times for the education of views on life values among college students, but also we should criticize and inherit the essence and the reasonable factors in the world history, strengthen the education of the socialist concept of honor among college students to guide them to establish the correct views on life values and promote their mental and physical development healthily and harmoniously, to lay a solid foundation for the realization of views on life values, so that we can cultivate them to be qualified builders and successors of the socialist and make their contributions to building a socialist harmonious society.
