The Relation Research On Academic Self-efficacy,Achievement Motivation And Vocational Interest Of College Students

The research about planning of professional career is very important in enterprise and psychology field now. Planning of professional career started in 1960s and was introduced into China in the mid-1990s.And it is a very important section in the theory of the management of human resources. With the development of social market economy and expansion of college students ,taking up a occupation is become a challenge for students。the reason which except the unavoidable objective factors ,the key problem that college students are ignorant of their abilities ,their strong suit and interests .Through analyzed the subjective factor of influence career tendency ,based on literatures in related fields ,trying to study the relationship between college students'self-efficacy,achievement motivation and career tendency .So called student's academic self-efficacy refers to the belief judgment or self concept of the academic subject what can be achieved successfully .It is a intermediary cognitive factors that plays on an important self-regulating role during the individual motivational process .It can be divided two dimension which conclude study ability self-efficacy and study behavior self-efficacy .The result of the past research showed that self-efficacy belief had a effect on college student's career choice .But ,the people who have a different achievement motivation also have different occupational interest .Achievement motivation refers to the internal force that drives a person to strive for success or achievements in a specific field of social activities .It conclude strive for success motivation and avoiding failure motivation .The results of achievement motivation and occupational interest relational research reveals that there is a interact effect between the avoiding failure motivation and frame effect in achievement motivation ,meanwhile also have a positive effect on career choice .The research of career tendency gradually become the focus of subject in modern times .It let people more focusing on the importance of a people's career future development .Thus ,this research begin with the subjective factors which effected the college students career tendency. The thesis investigated the difference and relating sex,grade,subject to academic self-efficacy,achievement motivation and occupational interest ,395participants for this study were recruited from five universities in Jilin ,and try to forecast the academic self-efficacy and achievement motivation' effect to occupational interest .The results were:(1)There were no marked sex,grade and professions difference on academic self-efficacy.(2)There was distinct professions difference on achievement motivation .On major variable, liberal arts students got higher scores than science' on strive for success and the sum of achievement motivation .But there were no significantly gender and grades difference in each of dimensionality.(3)There were significantly sex and professions difference in occupational interest types .On sex variable , male inclined to choose investigation occupational interest, while female inclined to choose artist occupational interest ;on major variable ,science and technology's students inclined to choose investigation and conventionality occupational interest;there was no significantly grade difference in occupational interest types.(4) There were high correlations among College students academic self-efficacy,achievement motivation and occupational interest. there were high correlations between the others occupational interest and study ability self-efficacy except outdoor occupational interest ; and there were high positive correlations between enterprising,social,conventional and study behavior self-efficacy; there were high positive correlations between strive for success and the each of dimensionality of occupational interest ,there were high negative correlations between avoiding failure motivation and occupational interest types except conventional and outdoor occupational interest. And there were high positive correlations between synthetic achievement motivation and each of dimensionality of occupational interest except conventional occupational interest.(5) Through the path analysis , academic self-efficacy and achievement motivation were directly effect on occupational interest types except outdoor.
