Biology is a natural science based upon experiments. The major task of the biology education is to cultivate students with scientific capacities. But as a key stage in fostering students' abilities, the implementation of the biology experiments has not been satisfying for a long time.As nowadays the college entrance examination has great impact on the teaching practice, the detailed listing of experiment requirements in the outline of biology examination triggers the phenomenon of teachers simply lecturing experiments and students simply rote memorizing experiments. The main reason is that there lacks the operational and detailed objectives of biology experiments. This paper focuses on the analysis and construction of the skill objectives of biology experiments in high schools by literature review, questionnaire investigation, interview and comparative study.The paper reviews the development of the skill objectives of biology experiments with diachronic changes in the past century. Synchronically, it compares the different skill objectives from home and abroad, and tries to find out the distinctive features of each outline. At the same time, an investigation into the high school biology experiments has been carried out. Based on this investigation, a reconstruction of the skill objectives of high school biology experiments has been done guided by the theory of educational objective classification theory. The main content includes reconstructing the structure, content, and feature of skill objectives of biology experiments. Abandoning the traditional classification of skill objectives into mental skills and operational skills, the paper proposes the skill objectives as follows: basic biological skills, basic process skills and comprehensive process skills. Each kind of objectives is independent; meanwhile, they are also interrelated, comprising a united whole. Thus, the skill objectives of high school biology experiment become distinct, which embodies the special value of biology experiments in high school biology education.
