As the students go into high school, their learning environment, contents and strategies become different, too. With the help of their teachers, the students should adjust and improve continuously to reconcile themselves to the new learning life. In order to avoid their learning efficiency coming down and gain good effect, the students try their best to overcome different kinds of difficulties on their own initiative. The ability dished up in the aforementioned process is named learning adaptability.Grade one is a crucial stage for students of high school. Therefore, it is of great practical significance research topic to discover the factors which lead to inadequate adaptation on their mathematics learning, to improve the level of learning adaptability.To investigate the situations of learning adaptability of mathematics among senior one, the researcher compiles 2 outlines about this interview, and finishes the research by means of interview. On this basis, first, the researcher interviews with 46 students and 23 teachers; second, choose 10 students and 5 teachers as cases; third, use the strategies of qualitative research to analysis the factors of leading to inadequate adaptation.The results from investigation suggest that the phenomena of inadequate adaptation are existed. There are 4 main heads which lead to inadequate adaptation:(1) Factor of educational environment; (2) Factor of the way of textbook in compiling;(3) Factor of teachers; (4) Factor of students, this factor concludes 3 sub-factors: factor of psychology; factor of knowledge that the students have acquired and their learning ability; factor of learning methods.Through discussions, the researcher concludes that the inadequate adaptation could be improved by the positive measures which adopted by teachers,effective teacher behaviors greatly enhance the likelihood that students acquire and apply recently learned strategies to their mathematices assignments.On the top of the aforementioned phenomena of inadequate adaptation and factors of inadequate adaptation, the researcher comes up with several instructional strategies to contribute the progresses of the mathematics learning.
