Internet Psycho-Structure Of Moral Trait, Moral Consciousness And Their Relationship Of Undergraduates

The psycho-structure of moral trait generally was used as study theme in pedagogy or ethnics theoretically, and the study of this theme was also based on general social environment. As the broad application and fast development of Internet, the psycho-structure of moral trait as one main factor of the powers to maintain the Internet social order has an unneglectable important position. However, the psychology study on Internet psycho-structure of moral trait is still on its beginning by far, especially for those demonstration studies is still blank. Therefore, based on the exploration to Internet psycho-structure of moral trait of WuHan university students and selected moral consciousness as the main influential factor, this research investigates how the moral consciousness influences Internet psycho-structure of moral trait.The research was divided into two phrases: Firstly, questionnaire composition about utilization of Internet, Internet moral and moral consciousness. Researcher composed the Internet moral and moral consciousness questionnaires primarily according to related researching documents, then four-component psycho-structure of moral trait and four main dimensionalities of moral consciousness were obtained after the exploratory factor analysis to the research data of 114 students which from the measure in advance. Second phrase is formal experiment. Composing the questionnaires of college students' utilization of Internet (11 items), Internet moral (9 items) and moral consciousness (13 items) as a suit of questionnaire, after the group-experiment on the undergraduate students in WuHan area, 261 valid data were collected at last. The confirmatory factor analysis indicated that four-component psycho-structure of moral trait model and four main dimensionalities of moral consciousness model were both optimal. And moral consciousness' influences on college students' Internet psycho-structure of moral trait was discussed afterwards.The study reveals that: 1. College students Internet psycho-structure of moral trait was constituted by four components, they are, Internet moral cognition, Internet moral sensibility, Internet moral attitude and Internet moral behavior. 2. College students' moral consciousness includes four dimensionalities, they are, self-acceptance, altruism, independence and trust. 3. College students' moral consciousness has an significant influence on Internet moral structure, and independence is a main forecast variable in them. 4. Male and female college students' use of Internet and the Internet moral behaviors of them have significant sexual differences, the female students are more conservative.
