The Study Of The Problem About Old-Ages' Support In Western Farmer Workers' Families

Our country is famous for its agricultural products. How to provide for the aged is the most important mission to build up the system of social security. Compared old-age care in city with county, great distance between city and county is becoming the main restriction to achieve the goal of ensuring our people a relative comfortable life. Such as great population in counties, weak economic foundation in counties etc. Building up the suited system of social security in counties is significant for perfecting the system of social security in our country and boosting the modern construction in the counties in order to turn the rural reform deeply, ease farmers' life risk further, and enhance farmers' living standard and quality. It has certain realistic and social meanings to study the problem of providing for contemporary farmer workers in western region in China as well as creating harmonious social atmosphere and promoting new country construction.At present, the difficulties about old-age care existing in farmer workers' families are as follows; Firstly, the serious aging problem; Secondly, the descending support for the old-age in farmer workers' families; Thirdly, the weak economic foundation in western region affects the level of old-age care and life quality; Fourthly, the alone old-ages' caring problem. In order to solve these problems, we should clear about the supplies for providing old-ages i.e. the old-ages caring mode in farmer workers families first. This paper has divided the old-age caring mode into three categories: the traditional mode,the social-support mode and the self-support mode according to the main pocketbook. Then, discussions about the three modes were given respectively.The main contents about old-ages' caring are including economic supply,taking care for their daily life and spirit. This paper has proposed to build up an integrative old-ages' caring mode though the study on western farmer workers families in order to solve these problems about old-ages' caring in farmer worker' families now.
