A Study On The School Management Of National Student Loan

The National Student Loan has provided more opportunities for poor students to accept the higher education since it carried out 1999. Now it becomes the most important supporting system for poor students in colleges and universities. However, the development National Student Loan has been impeded by the following three problems: first, some students who got the loan didn't repay the loan on time; second, banks aren't willing to loan student; third, many real poor students didn't get the aid of the National Student Loan. The colleges and universities should improve their management of National Student Loans as the "bridge" between the banks and students.Before doing this thesis, the author had investigated some colleges and universities in Sichuan in order to find out the present condition of the National Student Loan's management in these schools. Through this investigation the author found out some problems about school management of National Student Loan. The author analyzes the reasons that cause to these problems, and tries to provide some suggestions to perfect the school management of National Student Loan being perfected from the advanced experiences of the USA and Japan.The paper mainly includes four chapters:The first chapter is mainly about the formation, development and influence of the school management of National Student Loan. The school management of the National Student Loan has been improved with the development of the student loans in our country.The second chapter is an investigation of school management of The National Student Loan in Sichuan Province. The author makes a clear statement about the conditions and the problems which exist in the processes of the school management of the National Student Loan.Chapter Three mainly analyzes the reasons that cause to the problems of The Nation Student Loan.In the chapter Four, the author provides some suggestions to improve the school management of The National Student Loan.
