A Study On The Management Of National Student Loan In Colleges And Universities

National Student Loan (NSL) policy has been implementing in China since 1999, which plays a great role to ensure education rights and equality. It is especially beneficial for poor family students who can thus be guaranteed to finish their college education. However, some problems has also arisen which fundamentally lies in management. It is essential to make some related researches with a view to promote the policy and thus put forward a reasonable way for management. So this paper will focus on the management problems of National Student Loan in colleges and universities with a case study of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University by way of literature research, comparative study and interview. The whole study will be based on the theory of management and some proposals and possible solutions will be put forward in the end. The study will certainly provide some insights on the management of National Student Loan.The first part of this paper is introduction part which involves the aim and meanings of the study, current related research in China and abroad, the content and the methods adopted in this study, etc. Then in the second part the paper introduces NSL policy and other related theories. At the same time its development and implementation in China are analyzed here. The third part focuses on the management of NSL in Chinese colleges and universities with an aim to find out its main problems and possible reasons. The forth part covers a comparative study which makes thorough researches on the management of NSL in foreign countries and their applicable experience. The next part is a case study of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University where his successful management reform of NSL will be investigated. At last proposals and possible solutions are put forward to promote the management of NSL in China.
