The future trend of scientific development and research is always closely related to the transformation of the scientific research paradigm. And the development of teaching theory and research paradigm is always a powerful driving force for promoting the teaching and research to move forward. In the last two thousand years, there emerged Logical Deduction research paradigm, Natural Analogue research paradigm, Case Analysis research paradigm, Humane Studies research paradigm, and Ecology research paradigm emerged in recent years. However, the slogans: science, freedom progress and rational which Renaissance period promoted received critics and challenge in the post-modernism, and people began to doubt and to reflect the paradigms which have been existed. With Post-modernism emerged in real life, people have been trying to reform teaching research paradigm with post-modern ideas and post-modern point of view, post-modern perspective and thinking brought tremendous shock to the traditional mode of thinking. In the other hand, teaching and education researchers are showing a keen interest on post-modernism and trying to do their efforts to make changes to the post-modern teaching and research paradigm.This study is trying to place the teaching paradigm research in the post-modernism vision, and expecting that it would be useful to the education reform and the development of instructional theory.This paper consists of five sections:Section one, introduction. This section mainly introduces the study background, the development at home and abroad, the significance and the ways of this study.Section two, interpretation of related concepts. First, re-conceptualization "paradigm" based on the analysis of the related references; Second, define "teaching paradigm" based on re-conceptualization of "paradigm"; Third, give a the post-modernism a descriptive interpretation, that is emphasis reflection and criticism of post-modernism, against irrational and upgrade rational, advocate multi-angle stand, advocate dialogue and stress the differences, and advocate caring and humanity. Section three, analysis the teaching and research paradigms existed in the history. Analysis the teaching and research paradigms from the ancient Greek up to now: Logical Deduction research paradigm, Natural Analogue research paradigm, Case Analysis research paradigm, Humane Studies research paradigm and Ecology research paradigm.Section four, analysis teaching and research paradigm under the vision of post-modernism. Place teaching aim, teachers and students, teaching environment, teaching methods, and teaching evaluation under the vision of post-modernism.Section five, give evaluation to the transformation of teaching and research paradigm in the post-modernism. This study evaluates the teaching and research paradigm in Post-Modernism from both the positive and negative aspects, try to enable people to have correct position, and thinking and understanding the teaching and research related with post-modernism stand and make progress.
