Epistemology is the basic view and belief on knowledge that people hold, the various assumptions on the source, nature, scope and value on knowledge,and the general understanding and basic view on knowledge problem. The problem on epistemology has been an classical topic in the realm of philosophy .Education has a relationship with knowledge. One hand, education is an important way to sieve,transmit, accumulate and develop knowledge;on the other hand, knowledge is also the important content of education.Without knowledge ,education will be an impossible task. Education was carried out and implemented with the current knowledge condition as a premise and certain epistemology as an assumption. In some society background, epistemology tends to have an influence on the set of curriculum ,the choosing of teaching method and the standard of curriculum evaluation.With two teachers of the Huachao primary school as cases , this research adopts the case study strategy of the quality research, and use the method of observation, interview,and cultural heritage analysis to investigate how the teacher's epistemology influence his classroom teaching.The research mainly draws the following conclusions:First, the teacher's epistemology have an influence on his classroom teaching in various aspects such as their teaching objectives,the way to make use of curriculum resources and their roles in classroom .Second, owing to the influence of external factors such as teaching environment, community culture and evaluation system, the teacher can't fully practice his own epistemology in the classroom teaching.Third, the formation of the teacher's epistemology has a direct relationship with teacher's personal growth process , the previous learning and teaching experience.Fourth, the teacher's epistemology promotes his classroom teaching mutually,.On the foundation of the research , this researcher puts forward the following suggestion:First, we should be concerned about the teacher's epistemology, put together the teacher's improvement of epistemology and the professional growth. Second, we should explore to improve teaching evaluation system, particularly the examination system, to create a good exterior environment for the teacher to practice his epistemologyThird, the teacher should set up the consciousness of teaching introspects, improving the ability of teaching introspects, and promote himself in epistemology through teaching introspectsFourth, the teacher should continue learning without ceasing, and set up the education philosophy view that is in accordance with the quality education.
