In the context of the big explosion of knowledge,we cannot focus on the memory of knowledge as we have done in the past.Instead,we must further grasp the logic of knowledge production.It is precisely from this need that international large-scale assessment project PISA introduced Epistemic knowledge to the 2015 scientific literacy assessment framework.Epistemic knowledge,the category of scientific knowledge that is compatible with the ability to evaluate and design scientific inquiry,has aroused widespread concern.In view of the above situation,the study focuses on the following issues:(1)How does PISA 2015 focus on epistemic knowledge?(2)What is epistemic knowledge?What specific content of epistemic knowledge should be understood by junior high school students in science study?(3)How does junior high school science education focus on epistemic knowledge?(4)How to teach epistemic knowledge in junior high school science?Through comparative analysis of PISA2015 epistemic knowledge evaluation questions and epistemological beliefs evaluation questions,we found that epistemic knowledge evaluation is based on specific contexts and usually requires students to explain or answer a question.Questions need to apply epistemic knowledge rather than directly assess the content of epistemic knowledge.Based on the conceptual definition of epistemic knowledge in PISA 2015 and the K-12 Science Education Framework,as well as the identification of epistemic and procedural knowledge,metacognition knowledge,and epistemological beliefs,this study believes that epistemic knowledge is the individual's understanding of the nature of knowledge and the rationality of knowledge.Based on Yang Xiaoyang's individual epistemology model of middle school students,the specific content of scientific epistemology knowledge is incorporated into the four dimensions of the framework to construct the individual epistemological framework of the junior middle school science field.The new framework includes two parts,four dimensions and eight aspects.They are the nature of scientific knowledge and the nature of scientific knowledge-seeking process.The nature of scientific knowledge is subdivided into the temporal nature of scientific knowledge and the simplicity of scientific knowledge.The essence of...
