In information society, science and technology changes and improves each day and knowledge-base economy is flourishing gradually. All the countries are reforming education actively and probing the road of education modernization in view of features of the times of intellectualization, informationization, scientization and technicalization. Education modernization includes several aspects, such as education view, education goal, education structure, education content, teaching method, education theory and education research technique. Creation and development of educational technology has given new mission to education modernization, and has driven the course of education modernization forcefully.Modern education pays more attention to the unification of personality and socialization to personnel training. Educational technology is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources. It promotes the unification of personality and socialization to personnel training.Socialization of person has been studied in sociology field. Personality has been introduced in psychology. Pedagogics also touches upon to personality, socialization and their unification. These have certain use for reference to the paper and have provided the background for this study sufficiently. The paper will discussed the function of educational technology in the unification of personality and socialization to personnel training by analyzing related teaching patterns.Part one of the paper includes two aspects about personnel training theory. First, I have introduced the need of modern society to the inter-disciplinary talent and have analysed ability and quality an inter-disciplinary talent ought to have. Then I have expounded the theory of development of human being and its enrichment and development. Part two has introduced the meaning of person's personality and person's socialization mainly, and has analysed the relation between them. Part three has introduced the function of education, including promoting individual personality, promoting individual socialization and promoting them unified. Part four introduces the applications of educational technology in the teaching patterns by analysing examples, and analyses the function of educational technology in the unification of personality and socialization to personnel training.
