Relational Aggression (RA) has received widespread attention in the field of psychology research in recent years, RA refers to the behaviors of harming or controlling others through manipulating and damaging another child's friendships or feelings, it focus on relationship of peer, friendship and social group. Along with the increasing development of self-awareness, there is increasing so much conflict and inconsistency in middle-school students that RA gradually becomes a kind of aggression.Based on the previous researches at home and abroad, the research formed the psychological structure of Middle-school Students' Relational Aggression, and developed the Questionnaire of Middle-school Students' Relational Aggression (QMSRA). It includes two subscales: Aggressor and Victim, which subscale contains four dimensions: direct-general, direct- retaliation, indirect- general, indirect- retaliation. QMSRA was examined to indicate that the reliability and validity is satisfactory, We choose 1105 students as participants ,include four grades in key middle school and ordinary middle school, and analyze developmental characteristics of Middle school students's relational aggression.The conclusions is as follows:(1)The popularity of relational aggression among middle-school students is analyzed, 63% of the sample was neither aggressor nor victim;15% was just aggressor ;17% was not just aggressor but victim,5%was just victim;(2)Developmental characteristics of Middle school students' s relational aggression: in key middle school, relational aggression firstly increase, then decrease with higher grade, and most severe at junior two; in ordinary middle school, it firstly increase, then smooth with higher grade;(3)Boys were significantly aggressive than girls;(4)In junior one and junior two, relational aggression of key middle school was significantly higher than ordinary middle school; in senior middle school, relational aggression of key middle school have no significant with ordinary middle school;(5)Aggression and victimization of middle-school students existed significantly correlation.
