Teacher-student relationship is very important in schools, which directly infects the effects of teaching and the realization of teaching goals, while teacher-student conflict is one of the main sectors that hinder students and teachers from forming good relationship. Thus scholars have done abundant researches on teacher-student conflict. However, both at home and abroad, specialists focus on the apparent teacher-student conflict, there are few researches concerning the recessive ways to show conflict. On basis of the author's daily life experience in school and the teaching experiences in technological academies, it is found that few college students choose to have a fierce conflict of frontal verbal dispute with teachers, let alone physical attacks or evident revolts. What they choose more often is relational aggression, a kind of recessive way of conflict. The article details the existing forms, manifesting ways and characteristics of relational aggression, part of the teacher-student conflicts in colleges, and its influence on teachers and students. From the angle of Goffman's Dramaturgical Theory, the article also has a deep insight into the cause of formation and function of relational aggression. After thorough research on the whole process of relational aggression, the author tries to present in this article the complete status of relational aggression in colleges from the angle of a professional social worker, and hence proposes a series of improvement measures in the hope of making teachers treat relational aggression correctly in attitude, idea, action and communication ways, and thus create a favorable teacher-student exchange relationship.
