On Educational Integrity

Integrity is an ancient and eternal topic. From ancient times till now,integrity is considered to be an important criterion of civiliziation invarious nations all over the world. Integrity is not only the basic moralstandard which individual mannerhandles social affairs, but also theessential element of social stability, harmonious, progressive, and thesign of modern society. As the development of the socialist marketeconomy and the improvement of the socialist ideological and ethicalprogress, the significance of integrity is more and moreimportant. Education is the cradle of the talented person, and under takethe task of foundating a more honest society. So schools and educatorsneed to be more honest in their teach and research working.However, in the recent years, the integrity in education field faced theunprecedented challenge, such as the contrary charge, scientificmisconduct and so on. They have affected the development of thestudents, damaged the image of educator, and brought about bad socialinfluence.The thesis discusses mainly on the education integrity, analyses thereasons of the lack of integrity in education, and at last, probes into theapproaches to educational integrity. Firstly, strengthening the integrity education to improve thequality of teaching staff; secondly, reforming the illogical educationalrules and regulations, which can offer the educators a favorableinstitutional environment for their teaching andresearch; furthermore, consummating the supervising and penalizingsystem to restrict the dishonest behavior with regulations and law; finally,reinforcing social education to build a integrity society.
