The evolutive trend of the social aspect of classroom, the developmental direction of educational theory and the existent puzzle of teaching and learning in classroom have all demonstrated that the current traditional education mode, which concentrated on teachers, textbooks and the process of teaching, could not adapt to the development of the society and meet the satisfaction of people's development. Hence, the educational reform is imperative under the situation. However, the former experience of educational reform suggested that it was hard to achieve success and make remarked impact on educational system merely by making some partial improvement. So it's our urgent affairs to find out a new type of educational theory in order to rethink the puzzle existed in classroom and create a new kind of practical framework in education. The innovative theory of learning community naturally comes into being under such situation. Because of its various strengths, it becomes a key factor of the educational reform.Although the researches on learning community have been considerably fruitful, few researchers have focused their attentions on analyzing class wide learning community and designing a practical constructing framework. Unfortunately, the researches in this respect seem particularly important to teachers due to their work. Based on the research status, this dissertation is just about making a micro-level analysis to learning community by going deep into its social background and its correlative theories, and introducing the theory of peer-assisted learning and Yiyou learning so as to provide reference for teachers'endeavor to construct learning community in classroom.The research is on the basis of literature research and case study. The body of the dissertation includes three respects on the issues of how to reconstruct teaching and learning in classroom currently from the point of view of learning community. First, the author expatiates on the definitions and characters of the learning community and differ it from other correlative concepts so as to answer the question of what is learning community. Second, the author answers the question of why should we take the idea of learning community to reconstruct teaching and learning in classroom by analyzing the social background and the support from the philosophy and learning theory. Third, the author begins with the introduction of the principle of constructing learning community. Meanwhile, the author takes the theory of peer-assisted learning and Yiyou learning as the constructing mode and describes the attempts of Tuanjie elementary school in order to reply the question of how to construct learning community in classroom.
