| The widely using of Internet and Digital media technology in educational field not olnyprovides rich resource, but also changes traditional teaching in institution of higher learninginnovatively. Students study spontaneously through plenty of Medias. Teachers could deeplyshare resource and exchange experience. The communication between students and teachersis more convenient. In order to apply this teaching innovation in higher learning, thePeer-Assisted Learning Mode is proposed to support and promote, aiming on introducing themode into higher learning to assist teaching, integrating the spirit of Peer Assisted into theenvironment of higher teaching, and promoting the quality of higher teaching.The mode of Peer Assisted, a kind of internet learning mode, means peers can gainknowledge and skill by each other’s aim and help positively. In this mode, teachers andstudents are not only pure knowledge transmitter or receiver, but become partners helpingeach other in learning, mentor and helper in solving problems. It inspires students’ learningenthusiasm, stands out their autonomy and subject consciousness, and teachers can developthemselves’profession positively.From the perspective of constructing network peer-assisted learning mode, we designsand practices network peer-assisted learning activities to discuss the application of networkpeer-assisted learning model in college teaching based on the curriculum development on theMoodle learning platform. Firstly, the author learned relevant theories on peer-assistedlearning and then established network peer-assisted learning mode after consulting a largeamount of literature. Secondly, using courses in the《Principle and Application of Database》on the Moodle learning platform as examples, the author designs and practices peer-assistedlearning activities for the purpose of conducting empirical study on peer-assisted learningmode proposed in this paper to reflect its effects. Finally, the author opens up networkpeer-assisted learning activities by the application of Moodle learning platform, then analysesand sums up the application effects of peer-assisted learning mode with questionnaire method,interviewing method and content analysis method, the results shows that it is feasible andeffective to assist teaching by utilizing peer-assisted learning mode in colleges. This modeperfects the practical teaching knowledge of teachers and positively impacts the academicdevelopment of students, as a result, it makes up shortcoming in the traditional teaching modeand brings new opportunities to the development of college teaching. |
