Political Analysis Of Social Conflict During Social Transformation

"Pyramid" type social structure and strain structural relations between each stratum, imply people's needs and wishes being diverse and urgent during the transforming period. Since planned economy and traditional "officialdom standard" have influenced our society deeply for a long time, a lot of complicated benefit and request, which are even mutually incompatible, are imported into the political system, which are more than other countries. Plenty of political roles bear the responsibility of expressing benefit: individuals, deputies to the People's Congress, members of Political Consultative Conference, scholars, officials etc, from the individual angle; from the group angle, non-Communist parties, federation of industry and commerce, labor union, the Communist Youth League, the Women's Federation, the mass media. CPC and governments play the deciding role because of "in-put" mechanism. Whether benefits can be realized and to what extent being realized depends on them. However, because of negative influence of bureaucracy and corrupt, other profit expressing objects' functions being insufficient, government officials run after branch benefit or individual benefit more under the overall situation of market economy, put other stratum benefit aside, even damage or sacrifice them. Stronger and stronger society conflict consciousness come into being inevitably for common stratums, especially middle and lower levels, which are short of political resources, when they defend and realize their benefits. Political system's ability deficiency and its own problems, the public's intensive society conflict feeling, have initiated lots of group events concerning social safety. In order to resolve problems above, all of government officials must rectify the attitude to social conflict, take measures actively, propel political development, implement projects of people's livelihood conscientiously, and construct harmonious society heartily.
