Industrial Education is the prelude and leading card to modem Chinese technique and vocational education, in fact, it is the history of modern Chinese technique and vocational education. Modern Chinese technique and vocational education dates from 1960s, Zhang Zhidong (1837-1909) is the advocate of modern Chinese technique and vocational education. Zhang Zhidong's industrial educational thought reflects the far-sightedness ofZhang Zhidong as the pioneer of modem education.The paper analyzes the classic literature of Zhang Zhidong "Encouraging Learning" and "Gui Man education system", which are embodied in the industrial Education. The paper summed up the basic content of Zhang Zhidong's industrial educational thought, it is mainly from the industrial education of its importance, purpose, Classified, methods of teaching, the principles of education, teacher training to sum up The paper discussed the reasons for the formation of Zhang Zhidong's industrial educational thought. And then compared Zhang Zhidong with almost the same period of Li Hongzhang, Zhang Jian, as well asfor Japan's Fuzeyuji, they are the leads of industry trend, and compare the differences from its industrial education, and explore the causes of the problem. In the final, the thesis explored the inspirations of Zhang Zhidong's industrial educational thought to Development of today's technique and vocational education. Inspiration following main points : To develop technique and vocational education, must change our thinking, enhance the status of technique and vocational education. establish a new technique and vocational education; to development technique and vocational education, must understand the needs of the market; to develop technique and vocational education, must "learn good example of all countries while studying after." to develop technique and vocational education, must have a depth understanding of "lectures with the experiences ", and improve the quality of teaching; to develop technique and vocational education, must strengthen professional ethics education, nurtured students whom moral, wisdom and sports all developed.
