The present paper tries to find a more effective approach to the teaching of grammar in junior school classrooms.It first analyses the existing problems in current grammar teaching in junior schools.Then it reviews the faith of new curricullum and relevant research in this area.In order to verify the new grammar teaching methods,the auther designed and carried out a project research.in which attempts were made to use many different methods to grammar teaching under new curricullum.The paper falls into five chapters:Chapter One first introduces the social context of the research and the main structure of the paper.Chapter Two presents the basic theory and the concepts concerned.Chapter Three discuss the necessity of grammar teaching under the new curricullum.Chapter Four deals with how to conduct grammar teaching guided by new curricullum,presenting some examples of grammar teaching in the junior school.Chapter.Chapter Five is the conclusion of this paper.discuss the results of grammar teaching under the new currillum.It is hoped that this paper will bring some implications for the later researchers,and will be of some help to English grammar teacheing in junior school.
