Although, since economic reform in 1978, China's modernization has made noteworthy achievements, there have been some factors disharmonious with the social and economic development,in which the difference of income has been more conspicuous. The difference of income distribution can be refer to as the basic reason resulting in a astonishing number of social disharmonious problems, and so the dramaticly growing gap between the rich and the poor is not only a issue relevant to people's livelihood desperately coped with, but also a potentially political threat posed to socialism stability with Chinese characteristics. The Fourth Plenum of the 16th Communist Party of China clearly,therefore,pointed out the need to build a harmonious society. and the Sixth Plenum of the 16th Communist Party of China further mentioned that the social harmony is the essence of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.It is universally acknowledged that there exist contradictions and conflicts in any society which,however, tend to stimulate social development and progress. so building a socialist harmonious society is,actually,a process continuously resolving social contradictions. To great extent,education is a tool of society balance, the development of which can not only upgrade human capital, promote the good and rapid development of national economy ,but also successfully deal with the social conflict and achieve a fair redistribution of the social wealth, and give impulse to the healthy shift of the people's social class.But,the development of education must adhere to and implement the scientific development concept which should be firstly considered in the educational development process, continuously reform and innovate upon the educational concept, and build a harmonious education, consequently promote educational equity.The thesis is composed of five chapters: Chapter I is the introduction on the research background and significance of the thesis, defining,at the some time,the harmonious education which can be expressed the harmonious unity of the external and internal education. The external harmony of education means the close relation between the educational and social development;the internal harmony of education reflects the fairness,balance and coordination of the educational system;Chapter II and III empirically analysize jiangxi's education situation by the construction of the internally and externally harmonious education evaluation indicators. Analysis of the externally harmonious education focuses on researching the relation of the education development and the economic growth, the people's living standard, the gap between the rich and the poor, the education equity; the analysis of the internally harmonious education adopts a way of comparative study , mainly from the regional, urban and rural, structure, groups angle,analysizing the development situation of education, finding the problems and gaps that have readily existd; Chapter IV put forward the harmonious education development pattern,seting forth the theoretical basics, essence, features ,development goals and the pathes of the educational pattern;Chapter V design the development mechanism of the pattern,mainly concluding the scientific management mechanism, the investment mechanism improved, the coordinated development mechanisms and rational assessment mechanisms, comprehensive support mechanisms and the persistent effect innovation mechanisms.
