| Since the innovation and opening, the economics' level and efficiency of Jiangxi province have improved obviously. The economics of Jiangxi province, especially into the new century, has stepped into an new start, and the high education also has entered the fast development period. However, the development of higher education and region economics show some distance compared with developed region, such as the poor innovation, talents poverty. This thesis demonstrates the harmonious development between higher education and region economics in Jiangxi after conducting relative comparision, and analyzing its influence factors during the process of Jiangxi economics. And then put forward some effective suggestions to solve the problems and to promote the harmonious development between them.The thesis includes six chapters as follows:Chapter one and chapter two demonstrate the theories about harmonious development between higher education and region economics. Some relevant definitions have been introduced at first. Then some index to estimate harmonious development between higher education and region economics has been figured out.Chapter three and chapter four compare and analyze individually the statuses of that in Jiangxi province and Guangdong province. First, this thesis introduces the two's region development from the development situation of region economics and higher education in two provinces. Then, analyze the problems existing. At last, summarize the achievements of Guangdong province and regard them as experiences for Jiangxi development in the future.Chapter five advises several effective strategies as follows: "aiming" development principle; "multiplex" financing treasury; "multi-direction" talent strategy; "thorough" system reformation. To make come true in Jiangxi province a harmonious development between higher education and region economics.Chapter six is an appendix, which gives a basis to why we choose Guangdong as an a typical case.
