A great thought can't be covered up with time, exactly the opposite, it would show us its outstanding by the accumulation of time. This is the same withthe Course Theories of Dewey. In the 1920s of China, the Course Theories of Dewey once guided the direction of generation Chinese educational worker. Today when we begin the new one wheel of education, the eighth time of elementary education course, we still can fell the value of the Course Theories of Dewey. Dewey criticizes the traditional course profoundly and resolves ascheme having brought forward the rich imaginative faculty's——replace " threetraditional centers (teacher, teaching material, classroom)" with "three new centers " (children, experience, activity) and in some extent it conforms to the pursue of the new course reformation. The main body of this analysis is carried out trying to find out the characteristic and insufficient of the course theories of Dewey and point out the significance that it reforms to the new course reformation, here basis.
