“Learning by doing” courses ideology is the significant part of educational ideology of American famous educator John Dewey(1859-1952)). It is also the core of educational ideology.Educational ideology of John Dewey is based on the “Learning by doing” courses ideology to coordinate the curricular design, curricular structure,curricular implementation and curricular evaluation. “Doing” is established on the“Experience”. It is the significant part of “Learning by doing” courses ideology.However, the previous researches are focus on the direct experience ignoring the positivity and not emphasizing the effect and so on. “Learning by doing” courses ideology is yet valuable for the courses reformation nowadays. It may helps us realizing the problems in the courses reformation more deeply, and it also inspires us in the courses reformation. The research is divided into 4 parts corresponding to 4 sections,i.e., every part is a section.The first part is the induction. The reason of choosing thesis, the research situation,the research content, the research approach and innovation are illustrated in the part.The second part is the creation background of “Learning by doing” courses ideology of John Dewey. The part is mainly divided into 2 parts which are epoch background and the theoretic basement. The epoch background is divided into 3 points.Firstly, the social innovation provides the solid for the “Learning by doing” courses ideology of John Dewey. Secondly, the progress movement of education provides the opportunity for the creation of “Learning by doing” courses ideology. Thirdly, the personal life experience provides source of “Learning by doing” courses ideology of John Dewey. The theoretic basement is divided into 3 points. Firstly, the philosophy basement. Secondly, psychology basement. Thirdly,sociology basement.The third part is the main view of “Learning by doing” courses ideology of John Dewey. The part is mainly divided into 5 parts. Firstly, the analysis of content “Learning by doing” courses ideology of John Dewey, which is also the innovation of this paper.Secondly, the integration of children, knowledge and society on curricular design.Thirdly, emphasizing the integration of activity course and subject course.The forth part is the inspiration of “Learning by doing ”courses ideology to courses reformation of elementary and secondary school in our country. The inspirationis divided into 3 parts. Firstly, don’t emphasizing the existing experience unilaterally but strengthing the function of “Doing ”and “Experiencing”. Secondly, changing the“formation”of course to be the “intelligence”, and emphasizing the practical effect of teaching. Thirdly, transforming the “liberty”to“positivity”, strengthing the positivity of students.
