Religion is one kind of social mental and cultural phenomenon which relates to a given time and has various patterns and plentiful connotation. In the process of religion's secularization and modernization, the influence of religion on the present-day society has becoming obvious., and the members of the religious disciples in the present-day have changed too. The widespread influence of religion which works on the society in every aspect would be reflected in college students' mind. For the college students are the successors of the Socialist construction of China, it's an important research subject that we should teach them how to treat the religious culture and its influence rationally, to set up scientific world outlook, outlook on life and outlook on values.First this essay researches and analyses the present situation of the religious belief of the college students of the day. It explores the characters of the religious influence on the college students and the attitudes of the college students towards religion by some means, such as questionaries, data-collection, classification.After analyzing and summarizing this phenomenon, it finds out the reasons why the college students are affected easily now by religion. By the methods of substantial argument and comparison, emphatically through the grinding-in of the religious culture and the ideological and political educational, the essay analyzes the referenced meaning and the negative influence of religious culture on the ideological and political educational work in the colleges, and puts forwards the corresponding educational countermeasures with the historical evidences and theoretical analysis.
