A Study On The Interpersonal Trust Characteristics Of College Students

Mutual trust is the significant factor in building the good interpersonal relationship, also is the basis in interpersonal communion. It is the psychological maturity period in college. Facing with the tremendously changed condition and beginning with the independent of their own life, the college students unavoidably have the difficulties in interpersonal communion during the socialized process, they are often confronted with the conflict and confused contradiction. The gap between reality and ideal made them frequently felt that the crisis of the interpersonal trust is coming closer. In the course of the market economic development, the phenomenon is led by the negative influence of the harmful ideological trend, such as the system of organization doesn't consummate, the legal system isn't regular, and the individual money worships and so on. Nowadays, the demands of the trust in society are increasingly heightened. The trust has been gone up from the performance of personal moral trait to the requirement of qualified social member. In order to help training the excellent college students better, reveal the current situation on the college students' interpersonal trust, find out the trust psychology and behavior characteristics, the research about college students' interpersonal trust has a significant function.Based on overviews of former researchers and the investigation of open-ended questionnaire, the theoretical hypothesis was proposed. According to the relational scales in domestic and abroad and the current situation in China, we draw up the preliminary questionnaire of the college students Interpersonal Trust. The logical structure of college students interpersonal trust was constructed by the exploring factor analysis of the preliminary questionnaire,reliability and validity, and the confirmatory factor analysis of the formal questionnaire. Finally, questionnaire of the college students' interpersonal trust was formed. What's more, the characteristics of interpersonal trust of university students were investigated with this questionnaire, for example: sex, grade and district, in the end, we put forward to the educational suggestion.The results of the study showed that:1. The self-designed questionnaire of undergraduates' interpersonal trust has high reliability and fair validity. They included three dimensions and six factors.2. The levels of each dimension and factor form highest to lowest ranges as follows: personality trait > communicated result > emotional state > moral state > behavior style > emotional diversification. 3. The significant difference has been found in gender and grade variable, but not found in district.4. In general, the questionnaire of undergraduates' interpersonal trust appeared a declined trend.
