A Study Of Hui Nationality Community Transition In Hexi Region

Hexi region is situated in middle plate of silk road, in Yuan,Ming,Qing Dynasty,It is the most concentrated resident place of Hui nationality in north-west area,until in the end of Qing Dynasty,after Hui nationality went to a historical wreck, It walk outs the activity stage in Hexi region.at present ,though the population of Hui nationalty in Hexi region is not so much,they can adapt to different enviroment, absorb and interfuse cultural element of other nationalties,forming their unique economic and cutural feature,undoutbly,It is a tipycal case used for the transtion of Hui nationality community .I take a field investigation and analysis to cultural transition of several nationality communities in Hexi region by using correlative theory and method of enthnology,found the culture of scattered urban Hui nationaltiy community make an obvious change ,including economic life ,customs and habits,religious belief and so on.Through the study of Hui nationality community in Hexi region,I hope we can reveal some social transition rules about the scattered Hui nationalty surroudded by Han nationality and multiple culture,which can provide some useful guidance and drawing on for ethnic service in scattered Hui nationality.
