Informal Group is a collection of people who get together spontaneously and start interacting on a long term basis, among which there is no charters and fixed internal social structure. It was George Elton Mayo, the psychologist and sociologist of USA, that put forward the idea in the Hawthorne Experiment. He mentioned we only paid attention to the formal groups during our traditional management, and actually there were many informal groups that had powerful influence on the members' behavior and the realization of organization's goals. Universities, as part of the society, also have many informal groups, such as fellow groups, internet friends, reading friends and other groups of the students with common interest. With the development of educational reforms and the implementation of credit system, traditional formal groups, such as classes, students unions and League branches will vanish, while informal groups will be increasingly powerful. We can not deny that there are many informal groups of college students. But there is still no effective way to manipulate them. So based on this, this thesis has the further discussion on the moral education of informal groups. It includes four parts. Firstly, it gives a simple introduction of the origin and significance of the research and the layout and creative parts of the thesis as well. And then it discusses the forming, features and significance of the informal groups. Thirdly, it analyzes the current situation of the moral education of informal groups and points out the existing problems. Finally five management strategies of the moral education of informal groups are put forward according to this. This thesis has the positive exploration of the moral education of informal groups of college students.
