Nowadays, the elementary education is facing a great reform. In this reformation, one of the most important aspects is to pay more attention to the learners' affective factors. It emphasizes to combine the learners' affect with the language teaching. At the stage of elementary education, more and more attention is paid to not only the learners' language input and language skills, but also learners' affect. In contrast with other subjects, the relationship between language and affect is closer. Therefore, in the new standard of English curriculum, affective factors are regarded as a more important target.However, there are two kinds of wrong trends in English teaching. First, the teacher neglects the importance of affect, but draws more attention to the learners' intelligence factors. It leads to the emotional illiteracy. Second, the teacher ignores the relationship between affect and cognition. During the process of teaching, the teachers always value the learners' cognition, but seldom concern the affective problems. In fact, it can be very beneficial for language teachers to choose to focus at times on affective problems. There are many English scholars who were concerned with the study of affective problems. On the other hand, the term "affect" is still used to imply an even wider range of phenomena that has anything to do with emotions, moods, dispositions, and preferences. However, the aim of this article is based on the first-hand teaching and it' s in an attempt to investigate the production of the affective strategies in the junior middle school English teaching.There are six chapters in this article.In the first chapter, the writer presents the necessity of this research and gives the definitions of some relevant terms on this research.In chapter two, introduce the theory basis, the functions of affect, as well as the home and abroad researching achievements on this topicIn chapter three, introduce the investigation on the production of the affect strategies in junior middle school English teaching.In chapter four, the writer presents you the research on this topic in the teaching contents, the teaching organization, the teaching environment and the teaching evaluation.In chapter five, the writer also reveals the research results to us. And analyses and summarizes the research and provides some teaching suggestions on this topic.
