| The promulgation of English new curriculum standard has put forward more rigid requirements to middle school English teaching and learning. English new curriculum standard advocates quality-oriented education instead of examination-oriented education, develops students' good learning habits and awareness of life-long study, changing students as receptive container of knowledge into active learners. Reflective teaching is that teachers continuously inquiry and solve the problems generated from inner-self, teaching goals and teaching methods by means of action research, and by combining learning how to teach with learning how to learn , teachers can bring into play the role of teaching practical rationality and finally become scholar teachers.Based on English new curriculum, the present study explores how to stimulate students' interest in English learning in new situation by way of reflective teaching so as to enhance students' English language ability, achieving goals prescribed byEnglish new curriculum standard. Adopting the method of action research-------oneform of reflective teaching, the present study conducts a semester's teaching innovation on students' English learning.The present study finds the adoption of reflective teaching in teaching innovation makes a teacher easily access to feedback of teaching and learning, who can adjust his or her own teaching methods and attain teaching goals. The present study provides middle school English teachers with a paradigm of conducting reflective teaching to attain teaching goals in the context of English new curriculum standard. |
