Sports training industry is one of the important parts of sports industry, But the study on China's sports training industry, particularly sports social training is still relatively weak, the understanding on the status quo of this industry is not clear and also there is a lack of theoretical guidance system. Based on consulting the relevant literature and defining the training, social training and the related concepts, the paper makes a basic survey on sports social training market of Wuhan City by using methods of questionnaire investigation, expert consultation and literature study. Through summarizing and analyzing the general sports training market in Wuhan City of the status quo (including the Wuhan City sports training staff structure of gender, age structure, participation in sports training and motivation factors in Wuhan City sports community training content management market areas) we arrive at a conclusion that there are many problems, such as: lack of basic norms of market management, the scale of training institutions is limited, the training institutions lack of awareness of modern marketing, etc. And this paper make a summary analysis on the social factors of the training market development including external environment (the social environment, cultural environment, economic environment, technical environment) and internal conditions of factors (training courses, training conditions, training of teachers, operating mechanism, etc.), using economics, marketing, sports management, and other scientific theory, associating the actuality of sports training market in Wuhan City. The paper thinks that the training market is faced with good opportunities for development and it also has severe challenges. The problems needed solving is how to fully and rationally use its limited resources, how to make full use of favorable factors and how to actively participate in market competition. In light of the situation and existing problems of sports training market in Wuhan City, the paper puts forwards a number of reform measures from the macro aspects (including improving market supervision and management system, creating a good market environment and atmosphere, etc.) and the micro aspects (including improving the products of sports training institutions, services, marketing, Management, etc.) and provides a response advisory on making vigorous efforts to explore and develop sports social training market in Wuhan City.
