At present, the reform of new basic education curriculum has been launched, the reform of chemical curriculum reform has been fully carried out. The chemical textbooks as an important part of the curriculum reform, has also appeared new features correspondingly. The Ministry of Education in 2003 formulated the "ordinary high school the Standard of Chemistry Curriculum (experimental)", under the guidance of "The New Standard", a three versions of chemical textbooks have appeared.The reform of chemical and science textbooks in junior school has been carriied out.Textbooks are the materializing stuff of curriculum. As the foundation of instruction, textbooks are key factors to the implementation of curriculum. Moreover, chemical textbooks are the resouce of chemistry knowledge network, which emphasized in chemistry instruction and meaningful for students. Because the chemistry textbooks in middle-school are being changed remarkably, the analysis of joinning of chemical content in junior science textbooks of "Wuhan Education Press"version with senior compulsory chemistry of "Peoples' Education Press" version and the research on teaching strategy of the linking up of textbooks are very necessary.This thesis is made up of five parts. Part I puts forward the problem, setting out expounding importance of the research on the Linking of textbooks .Part II clarifies the present situation of domestic and international trends in the reform of chemical material; Part III states briefly the basis theory of instruction from the perspective of cognitive learning theory and constructivism; Part IV emphatically analyses the linking up of chemical content in Junior science textbooks of "Wuhan Education Press"version with senior compulsory chemistry of "Peoples' Education Press" version; Part V discusses deeply that the problems of Unking up of chemical content and teaching strategy.Solving the problems of joinning of chemical content is important work of teachers in senior and junior high schools, the dissertation has its realistic meaning and a practical value.
